Easy to Grow Thyme Seed Discs Thyme ( Thymus Vulgaris) Sow date (indoors) Thyme - February to May • Fill your pots with compost to approx 2cm from the top and firm down. • Place the seed disc on the surface of the compost. Discs can be cut to pot size if required. • Cover with a little more compost and water lightly. • Store in a warm location at an approx. temperature of 13 to 16C (55 to 60F) • Sit back and wait for your seeds to grow! • When the seedlings are strong enough to handle, transplant into bigger pots to grow on. • Once all chance of frost has passed the plants can be transplanted in your garden, harden off first. “Hardening off” is the process of moving plants outdoors for a portion of the day to gradually introduce them to the direct sunlight, dry air, and cold nights. • Allow 23cm (9 inches) between Parsley and Thyme plants. • Alternatively, for all year round supply, keep in pots indoors. Harvest Thyme - May to October Pick fresh herbs when required
